Your Ladakh adventure begins as you land at Leh Airport (3,500m), where our representative greets you with traditional white scarves. After transfer to your hotel, rest for 3-4 hours to acclimatize. In the afternoon, visit the gleaming Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh Valley during golden hour. Explore the 17th-century Leh Palace, then wander through the bustling Leh Market to see Tibetan handicrafts and try local butter tea. Enjoy a hearty dinner at the hotel while our guide briefs you about the coming days.
Depart early for Nubra Valley, crossing the legendary Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) – stop for photos amidst prayer flags and snow-capped peaks. Descend to the valley to visit Diskit Monastery with its towering Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, experience the surreal Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can opt for a Bactrian camel ride (extra cost). Check into your desert camp and enjoy stargazing after dinner.
After breakfast, drive along the Shyok River through dramatic landscapes. Arrive at Pangong Lake (14,270 ft) by afternoon – its mesmerizing blue waters changing hues under sunlight. Walk along the shores, visit the lakeside Pangong Village, and capture iconic shots (remember the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots?). Overnight in luxury lakeside camps with mountain views.
Wake up for sunrise over Pangong before driving to Tso Moriri Lake (15,075 ft), Ladakh’s lesser-known but equally stunning alpine lake. En route, spot wildlife like kiang (Tibetan wild ass) and nomadic changpa herders. Visit Korzok Monastery by the lakeshore and stay overnight in eco-friendly cottages.
Morning at leisure to soak in Tso Moriri’s tranquility. Drive back to Leh via Tso Kar Lake, a saltwater wetland frequented by migratory birds. Stop at Hemis Monastery – Ladakh’s richest, famous for its annual masked festival. Arrive in Leh by evening for a farewell Ladakhi dinner with cultural performances.
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport with a stop at Hall of Fame Museum (tribute to Indian soldiers). Depart with unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s landscapes and culture.
